SPIX AI Box – COPY

SPIX AI structures speech from an expert—or a group of experts—into actionable business documents, directly on-site. Defense, construction, environment, automotive, energy, critical infrastructure, and military: your meetings and technical memos become structured, ready-to-use reports.
SPIX AI provides voice- and natural language-based access to an EDM system or a document-based RAG. The PC-GPU stores this information locally, without an internet connection.

SPIX AI offers the same features as major cloud solutions, closer to operations, without the cloud, without an internet connection, without losing control of data, and while keeping operating costs under control.

SPIX AI does more than just transcribe speech to text—it works autonomously, in noisy environments, and offline to ensure the confidentiality of information…
The solution organizes speech into a readable and usable document. Experts attending meetings, or mobility experts, can easily approve a generated meeting minutes document before circulating it.
SPIX AI also enables users to manage corporate documents and decision trees for critical processes—all naturally via voice—without compromising data security or confidentiality.

Control interface
A local interface for controlling transcription, structuring, and associated parameters. A local interface to ensure end-to-end autonomy of the solution.

SPIX AI automatically converts your audio recordings (or a live voice stream) into structured documents ready for local validation.
Why is local validation important? For example, in the case of an incident report in the industrial sector, real-time, on-site validation by stakeholders is crucial.

For the first time, SPIX AI Box offers all the LLM features used in office settings to field operators. The entire workflow is handled in a robust and secure manner to process critical or confidential information.
This innovation enables field teams to benefit from the same productivity tools as office employees, without compromising on price, data security, or the quality of the documents generated or used.

From suitcases to audio recorders, PC GPUs, and smartphones: everything is ruggedized and robust for field use in demanding industrial environments (construction sites, operations, inspections, maintenance).

The equipment (PC, GPU, smartphone, microphone, recorders) can be used in any field setting—whether working alone or in a group—to create documents or access information or decision-making support.

All software has been installed, and the models used have been validated and installed on an isolated PC-GPU: no cloud connection, no glitches.

The PC-CPU is isolated (air-gapped). The models installed or the data processed remain on the PC: no reuse to train other models, no data leaks.

A unique hardware + software + industrial dataconfiguration
The most advanced LLM capabilities are made available to industrial field operators through tailored hardware and software configurations that are robust, reliable, fast, and easy to use.

Discover how SPIX AI transforms raw audio data into a structured business document—all executed 100% locally on a standalone GPU-powered PC.

Near the PC, microphones are available for speaking directly during meetings or for technical memos. No recording; processing is done locally, either in real time or on-demand.
For remote environments where a Wi-Fi connection is possible between a smartphone and the PC-GPU, the audio signal is sent directly to the PC-GPU (real-time or on-demand processing).
Finally, for harsh environments, recorders allow for audio recordings, which are then uploaded to the PC-GPU and processed on a delayed basis.

An AI engine converts speech into plain text with a level of accuracy that depends on business requirements, PC-GPU capabilities, environmental constraints (noise, language, etc.), and industry-specific jargon.
For each use case, the best transcription model is selected: the SPIX AI solution is independent of the transcription model used.

For meeting minutes, a diarization algorithm separates the voices and assigns each sentence to the correct participant.

Intelligent extraction of key concepts: equipment, tasks to be performed, decisions, dates, and anomalies, for example. This extraction makes it possible to structure a report based on criteria that are important to the field operator.

Automatic formatting of plain text and structured reports based on your business templates (reports, meeting minutes, expert reports, technical memos).

The generated document must always be validated by one or more subject-matter experts before being distributed. This validation step is important in the industry; that is why the local and rapid processing of information is essential. The more time that elapses between the action, consultation, decision, and its formalization in a validated document, the more the information loses its relevance.
Similarly, experts’ critical analysis of query results from an EDM system or a document management system is very important.

What Is Audio Transcription?

Audio transcription involves converting an audio recording (meeting, interview, memo, or how-to guide) into usable written text. Historically performed manually by professional transcribers or secretaries, this task can now be automated using artificial intelligence (LLM and/or SLM).

According to a 2024 MIT study, 74% of companies now use automatic transcription to automate the production of their meeting minutes, saving an average of 15 to 25 hours per week.

How does voice transcription work?

AI transcription models (such as Whisper, Mistral, ChatGPT, etc.) analyze the audio signal, identify phonemes, reconstruct words, and then structure the text. Advanced systems like SPIX AI Box add diarization (speaker identification) and automatic document structuring.

Cloud vs. local transcription: what are the differences?

Cloud solutions (Plaud.ai, Copilot, ChatGPT, Mistral, Otter, Descript, etc.) require you to upload your audio files to their external servers. Your data leaves your company, travels over the internet, and is processed in data centers often located in Europe but running on U.S. infrastructure (AWS or Google).
This infrastructure is largely subject to the U.S. Cloud Act.

Why Companies Use Speech Transcription and Automatic Structuring

  • Field Traceability: Comprehensive, Real-Time, Validated Reports
  • Operator satisfaction: Field operators are empowered through the use of effective and operational AI solutions.
  • Time savings: 1 hour of audio = a few minutes of processing vs. 2 hours of manual transcription
  • Rapid ROI: Immediate return on investment, traceability, satisfaction, and time savings with high added value
  • Consistent quality: No typos; industry-specific terminology is maintained
  • Compliance: Document traceability, secure archives, native GDPR compliance
  • Scalability: No limits on the volume of data processed or file size
